Dear Fellow Believers in Christ, (Jesus Christ is the source of Genuine Light)

Jesus Christ is the source of genuine light. How does the genuine light of Christ come forth out of the genuine life of Christ in us as us? How does genuine light relate to the Blood of Jesus and the Body of Christ? How does identification, revelation, illumination, and realization all tie in with genuine light and purity? What is the sin against light? How do we avoid committing it? Let us allow the Holy Spirit to reveal Christ to us and in us in a deeper and richer way each and every day.

GENUINE LIGHT

"I continually charge you before God, who ever quickens all things, and Christ Jesus Who once then witnessed the good confession upon Pontius Pilate, that you are to keep the commandment without blemish, unblamable, until the full revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, the blessed and only Mighty One, which He will hereafter reveal in His own times, the king to those ever being kings, and Lord to those ever being lords, Who alone ever is immortality, dwelling in unapproachable absolute purity of light, who no man of men has at intervals seen, nor is ever able to at intervals see, to Whom is honor and eternal might. Amen" (I Tim. 6:13-16, author's translation).

First, Genuine Light Comes Out of the Birthing of the Life of Christ in Us
John declares that "in Christ ever was life, and the life was the light of men" (John 1:4). Light is the closest natural representation to illustrate God's character. Absence of light is darkness where one cannot see. Only when natural light falls on various objects in this earthly realm can we see anything. When the Holy Spirit first reveals Christ to us, we receive Him as our Lord and Savior. This is our Spiritual rebirthing. When we are born again, we can begin to see things in the realm of the Spirit (John 3:3). John clearly declares that this genuine light is in the genuine life of Christ (John 1:4). This is why we must be born again. Until we are born again, we do not have Christ living His life in us. As soon as we are Spiritually rebirthed, the genuine life of Christ in us brings illumination to us in the Spiritual realm. We have His new nature and character. Genuine Light come forth out of the birthing of the genuine life of Christ in us.

Second, Genuine Light Comes Out of the Purity of the Blood of Jesus
Christ paid for my eternal life and reconciled us to the Father through His death on the cross (Eph 2:16). The shed blood of Jesus is what redeems me and justifies me 100% before our Father (Eph. 1:7; Rom. 5:9; Col. 1:14). The Father looks at the blood of Jesus as pure, righteous, and holy. As a result of Christ now living His life in me, the Father looks at me as pure, righteous, and holy. The Father sees Christ in me as my purity. The Father sees Christ in me as my righteousness and holiness (I Cor. 1:30). All we can do within ourself and our own strength is produce flesh. All that comes out of Christ within us operating with a renewed mind is purity, righteousness, and holiness. We operate at various degrees between the flesh and the Spirit. The blood of Jesus cleanses the mind as we are in fellowship and we walk in His genuine light (I John 1:7).

Third, Christ is Now the Genuine Light Living Through the Body of Christ
John stated that Jesus is the genuine light, which gives light to every man who comes into the world (John 1:9). Jesus also declared and said, "I am the light of the world" (John 8:12). Then Jesus adds a caveat with that declaration, "As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world" (John 9:5). As Jesus of Nazareth, He was the light of the world. Christ is now is the genuine light of the world living in and through us – the children of light (Eph. 5:8).

Fourth, Genuine Light Purges, Purifies and Dispels All Mind Darkness
Jesus took Peter, James, and John separately up on a high mountain (Matt. 17:1). Before their very eyes, Jesus was transfigured from an earthly form into His genuine Spiritual form. The transfiguration of Jesus released His absolute light and purity from within. The transfiguration caused His face to radiate as the sun and clothes to glisten, from the intensity of genuine purity of light radiating from His entire body (Matt. 17:2; Luke 9:29; Mark 9:3). Genuine light purges, purifies and dispels all darkness. When the Holy Spirit comes, He speaks to us of Christ. The revelation of Christ is the genuine light that purges, purifies and dispels all darkness in the mind. It is our identification with Christ, through Holy Spirit revelation, that provides genuine illumination and genuine realization of Christ who lives in us as us. Genuine purification comes as Christ lives in us in His life of genuine light and purity through us for others.

Fifth, Genuine Light and Genuine Revelation Comes in the Father's Timing
Do you think our Father Spiritually rebirthed us, so that we would live a separate life aside from the life of His precious Son that He placed within us? Our Father placed His Son in us at the Spiritual rebirthing in order that He would be our genuine life, our genuine light, and our genuine all in all. Paul declared, "It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me" (Gal. 2:20). There is genuine identification with Christ as our life in us as us in that verse. Do you think our Father only reveals His son to certain special individuals? Paul states that whosoever calls on Him and believes can be saved (Rom. 10:13,11). Also, the same revelation of Jesus Christ that the Apostle Paul received, that so transformed his mind and life is available to every member of the Body of Christ (Gal. 1:11-12). This genuine revelation of His genuine light came, when it pleased the Father to reveal it through His grace. It comes in the Father's timing.

Sixth, The Sin Against Genuine Light Often Leads to Darkness and Silence
Since Genuine light and revelation come in the Father's timing, we need to be open and sensitive to listen and hear in the Spirit. We don't want to miss what the Father is doing, saying, or revealing. There is a sin called, "the sin against light." When the Father provides someone the light to walk in, and that one refuses to walk in that light; then, that one is making a choice to place themselves in a precarious position. The children of Israel did this and look at the darkness and blindness that they are even in today (Isa. 6:9-10; Matt. 13:14-15; Acts 28:26-27). Are there times when God seems silent and you are walking in a fog of darkness? Be honest. Is there any light that you have received, that you have not chosen to walk in? You may not be given any more light until you are first obedient to the genuine light that you have already been given.

Seventh, Our Father and the Lamb are the Genuine Light of Heaven
Our Father dwells in absolute purity of light (I Tim. 6:16). While Christ has been given all authority and dominion by the Father; Christ still remains subject to the Father in all things. The more the Son is revealed to us by the Holy Spirit; the more the Son can reveal the Father to us (Matt. 11:27). The more we are committed to Christ who lives in us as our genuine life and genuine light; the more we will be able to see and know the Father. In heaven, our Father and the Lamb will be the genuine glory and the genuine light forevermore (Rev. 21:23).
